HIPAA, the Health Insurance Portability
and Accountability Act of 1996, requires any organization
that electronically stores or transmits patient information
to adhere to HIPAA's privacy, security and transactions.
iVaidhya recognizes its responsibility
to ensure that all billing practices involving all Health
care programs are in compliance with applicable federal,
state laws, including the CMS rules & regulations. |
- All the employees of iVaidhya is committed to full
compliance with all statutes, regulations, and guidelines
applicable to Federal Health Care programs, including
its commitment to prepare & submit accurate billings
consistent with Federal Health Care program regulations
and procedures or instruction otherwise communicated
by CMS.
- Every employee at iVaidhya signs a confidentiality
and non-disclosure agreement with severe penalties/termination
on violation.
- Every employee is provided with access/swipe cards
to enter into the facility. The security guards at
the entrance on duty 24 x 7 days and unauthorized
intrusion is strictly prohibited. Access to Internet/Email
provided only to authorized staffs, unofficial websites
are blocked.
- Back up of data are taken periodically and stored
safely. A dedicated compliance officer monitors the
security processes and updates on regular basis.
- Connection to the client's servers is through secure
VPN tunnels with 128-bit encryption. We have implemented
IP security for servers.
- Entire network is protected by Firewall Gateway
Security - both internal and external network. Only
authenticated user can access the Internet.
- All the data received and operated by us are duplicated
simultaneously in our additional corporate office
located at a different city, for emergency backup
against any natural disaster - earthquake, cyclone,
lightening storm, flood, fire accident etc.
